Ingredients
♨ Corn kernels, 1/2 cup
♨ Sugar, 1 cup
♨ Corn syrup, 1/2 cup
♨ Butter, 2 tbsp.
♨ Baking soda, 1 tbsp.
♨ Vanilla, 1/4 tbsp.
♨ Food coloring, as required
Method
♨ Melt 1 tbsp. butter in a kettle.
♨ Add the corn kernels.
♨ Cover the kettle. In some time, the corn will start popping.
♨ Shake the kettle to ensure that all the kernels pop properly.
♨ Remove from heat once the corn has popped.
♨ In a bowl, combine sugar, corn syrup, baking soda, vanilla, food coloring, and the remaining butter.
♨ Heat till the butter melts.
♨ Pour the mixture over popped corn.
♨ Make batches of different colors, and mix them to enjoy multicolored popcorn.
Using a Popcorn Popper
Ingredients
♨ Corn kernels, 1/4 cup
♨ Food coloring (different colors), 2 – 3 drops (each)
♨ Butter, 1/8 cup
♨ Salt, as required
Method
♨ Pour the corn kernels in a popcorn popping machine.
♨ Add the butter and salt to it.
♨ Pour the food coloring.
♨ Now place the lid and start the machine.
♨ Make different colored varieties, and mix them together for a multicolored version.

Using Jell-O Gelatin
Ingredients
♨ Popcorn, popped, 8 cups
♨ Peanuts, 1 cup
♨ Sugar, 1/2 cup
♨ Butter, 1/4 cup
♨ Corn Syrup, 3 tbsp.
♨ Jell-O Gelatin, 3 1/2 oz.
Method
♨ Pre-heat the oven to 300° F.
♨ Combine the popcorn and nuts.
♨ Combine sugar, butter, corn syrup, and Jell-O in a saucepan.
♨ Let it boil for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
♨ Pour the mixture over popcorn and nuts.
♨ Toss well and bake for 10 minutes.
Using Kool-Aid
Ingredients
♨ Popcorn, popped, 10 cups
♨ Sugar, 1 cup
♨ Kool-Aid, unsweetened, 6 packets (different colors)
♨ Butter, 1 stick
♨ Corn syrup, 8 oz.
Method
♨ Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add corn syrup and sugar to it.
♨ Allow it to boil for a couple of minutes and remove from heat. The basic caramel syrup is ready.
♨ Now divide this syrup in 6 bowls. Add six different flavors of Kool-Aid to each one and mix well.
♨ Add popcorn to each bowl. Shake well. Ensure that the popcorn is properly coated with the syrup.
♨ Mix the different colored popcorn, and your multicolored popcorn is ready.
If you don’t like caramel popcorn, just make the coating without sugar. You can add salt or any other seasoning of your choice.
