When a group of forever muttering friends happen to visit your place for a short snack, well deciding what to serve them is a petty issue. The most important part is to know how to divert their 'typical conversations' over a coffee table and drive them into a world full of savor-flavor! What else could be a better way but to either make pancakes, plain cakes or muffins. Speaking of the most latter option, the idea blends well with the whole teatime snack! So let's pick out some healthy ingredients like oatmeal and decently prepare an oatmeal muffin recipe for all those gabby friends of yours!
Recipe for Apple Oatmeal Muffin
Since this recipe is using apples as main ingredients, they happen to be rich in fiber. And we all know that fiber is an important component for our heart and for a healthy diet.
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup oatmeal (quick or old-fashioned oatmeal)
  • ½ cup of cooking oil
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 apple chopped
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ½ cup raisins

For preparing this recipe, you need to preheat the oven at a temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Next chop the apple and place it in a large mixing bowl. Add some raisins to it and also add all the rest of the ingredients to the mixing bowl. The ingredients would be dry in nature, so make sure you stir them until they are moistened completely.
Now get hold of the muffin cups and grease them well. Fill them with this freshly prepared mixture to about 2/3 full. Place them in the oven for a bake and bake them for a good 20 to 25 minutes or rather until golden brown in color. Once you see the muffins turning to this color remove them out of the oven and let them cool for a 5 to 10 minutes. Remove the muffins from the tins and serve them in a dry plate.

This particular recipe makes about 2 dozens of muffins in one mix.
