  • 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon of white vinegar
  • 1-2 bay leaves
  • 1 cup of water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Method of Preparation

Firstly, you need to clean the roast and season it with salt and pepper. Next, place sliced onions at the bottom of the crock-pot and place seasoned roast on the top. Add white vinegar and bay leaves to the pot and cook at high heat until it simmers. Then turn the heat to low and simmer for 3-4 hours. After the prescribed time, take the roast out of the pot and place on a plate. Add the flour in water and pour it into the pot. Mix the roast drippings and a little water to form a gravy. Serve the roast with gravy.

Ingredients
  • 3-4 lbs of bottom round beef roast
  • 1 lb of onion
  • 2 lbs of potatoes
  • 1 lb carrot
  • ½ cup of Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup of barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of freshly ground pepper
Method of Preparation

Clean and season the bottom roast with salt and pepper. Place the seasoned roast in a slow cooker. Slice and add onion, potatoes, and carrot to the cooker. Pour the Worcestershire and barbecue sauce on top of the roast. Cook on low settings for 7-8 hours. Take the roast out after the prescribed time. Serve hot with gravy made from the drippings of the roast.
