Recipe 1

Ingredients
  • Shrimp, 1.5 pounds
  • Garlic (minced), 4 teaspoons
  • Green onions (sliced), 6
  • Butter (clarified), ½ cup
  • White Wine, ¼ cup
  • Lemon juice, 2 teaspoons
  • Parsley (chopped), 2
  • Salt, 1 teaspoon
  • Pepper, 1 teaspoon
Preparation
  • Wash and rinse the shrimp with water and leave it aside.
  • Melt the butter in a pan and fry the garlic in it till it softens.
  • Now, add the shrimp and onions to the frying pan. Pour the lemon juice and wine in it and cook it together.
  • Cover the pan to allow the shrimp to season. Let it soften, after which it will turn pink.
  • Stir the mixture and add the salt, pepper, and chopped parsley to it.
  • Garnish it with extra butter and lemon slices.
Recipe 2

Ingredients
  • Shrimp, 1.5 pounds
  • All-purpose flour, ½ cup
  • Olive oil, ½ cup
  • Parsley (minced), ½ cup
  • Oregano (crushed), ½ teaspoon
  • Black pepper, ½ teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper, ½ teaspoon
  • White wine, 2 teaspoons
  • Garlic (minced), 4 cloves
Preparation
  • Mix the flour with the black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper. Dredge the shrimp in this mixture.
  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet and sauté the shrimp in it for at least 5 minutes. Let the shrimp get fried.
  • Prepare a mixture with the rest of the ingredients like garlic, parsley, and oregano, and heat them for 3-4 minutes.
  • Cover the shrimp with this mixture and heat it once again.
  • Heat a skillet and pour the wine into it. Dip the shrimp in the wine, and then let it cool for sometime, till it becomes light brownish in color.
  • Serve it with cheese and lemon juice.

Ingredients
  • Shrimp, 1.5 pounds
  • Olive oil, ¼ cup
  • Garlic (minced), 1 teaspoon
  • Parsley (chopped), 3 teaspoons
  • Red pepper flakes (chopped), 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice, ¼ cup
Preparation
  • Peel the shrimp pieces and de-vein it for grilling purpose.
  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet and cook a mixture of the garlic, parsley, black pepper, and lemon juice in it.
  • You can also add some red pepper to it.
  • Add the shrimp pieces to this mixture and let them get coated with it. Refrigerate it for half an hour.
  • Preheat the grilling machine. Place the shrimp pieces on the skewer and brush them with butter.
  • Grill them for 3-4 minutes till they become soft.

  • Shrimp, 1.5 pounds
  • Garlic (minced), 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil, ½ cup
  • Parsley (chopped), 1 teaspoon
  • Butter stick, ½
  • White wine, ½ cup
  • Lemon wedges, 4
  • Bread crumbs/pasta, as required.
Preparation
  • Peel the shrimp and de-vein it. Marinate it with lemon juice
  • Add some butter to a skillet and sauté the bread crumbs or pasta, garlic, and parsley in it. Let the color of the mixture change to golden-brown.
  • Pour some olive oil into the skillet and cook the shrimp till they turn pink.
  • Serve them with the bread crumbs/pasta and scampi dip.
The taste of shrimp scampi is enhanced when it is eaten with bread, rice, and pasta. You can also pour scampi sauce over this dish or serve it with salsa. Scampi sauce is nothing but a combination of tomato sauce and chili sauce. If you want to make the dip at home, then add a little garlic and ginger to the tomato puree for a spicy flavor.
