Enlisted below are some interesting corn casserole recipes that you can prepare to enhance your meal experience.
Basic Method
  • Eggs, 2 (beaten)
  • Butter, ½ cup (melted)
  • Sour Cream, 1 cup
  • Corn, 14¾ oz. (creamed)
  • Dry Cornbread Mix, 8½ oz. package
  • Whole Kernel Corn, 15 oz. (drained)
Preheat the oven to 350° F and lightly grease a baking dish. Then, take a medium-sized bowl and add eggs along with the cornbread mix. Also add butter and the whole kernel corn along with the sour cream. Place this preparation in the baking dish and bake it in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Serve it hot.
With Eggs and Cheddar Cheese
  • Eggs, 2
  • Sour Cream, 1 pint
  • Cream Style Corn, 1 can
  • Butter, 6 tbsp. (melted)
  • Cheddar Cheese, 1 cup (shredded)
  • Cornbread Mix, 8 oz.
First you would need to grease a 9" baking dish. Then, beat the eggs in a mixing bowl. Add the cream style corn along with the sour cream to this and blend well. Add cornbread mix along with the melted butter. Add a pinch of salt to this preparation and top it up with cheddar cheese. Once done, place all these casserole ingredients in the prepared baking dish. Bake this dish at 350° F for at least half an hour. Serve it hot.
With Cooked Corn and Eggs
  • Milk, 1 cup
  • Sugar, 2 tsp.
  • Butter, 2 tbsp.
  • Flour, 1½ tbsp.
  • Salt, 1 tsp.
  • Pepper, ⅛ tsp.
  • Eggs, 2 (beaten)
  • Corn, 2 cups (cooked and drained)
Melt the butter over low heat. Then, add some flour and blend well. Also add the milk gradually. While stirring the same constantly, boil the mixture and then add sugar, corn, salt, and pepper. Once it's cooked, remove from heat and add the eggs. Pour the preparation into a greased baking dish. Bake the same at 350° F, for half an hour. Serve it hot.
With Tomatoes and Green Pepper
  • Corn, 2 lbs. (frozen)
  • Tomatoes, 3 (sliced)
  • Onion, 1 (chopped)
  • Green Pepper, 1 (chopped)
  • Bread Crumbs, ½ cup
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Butter, ½ stick (cut in thin slices)
Take a casserole dish and place green pepper, onion, and corn in it. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 350° F. Sprinkle some salt and pepper over the mixture prepared earlier and blend the mixture well. Add some dollops of butter over this mixture. Once you have spread the butter, place tomatoes on top of it. You can now sprinkle the breadcrumbs over this preparation. Bake the preparation for an hour. Serve it hot.
With American and Cream Cheese
  • Butter, ¼ cup (cubed)
  • Water, 3 tbsp.
  • Milk, 3 tbsp.
  • Sugar, 2 tbsp.
  • American Cheese, ¾ cup (cubed)
  • Corn, 16 oz. (frozen)
  • Cream Cheese, 8 oz. package (cubed)
You need to combine all the ingredients in a casserole dish. Ensure that you blend them well. Then, cover the same and cook it on a low heat, till the cheese melts. Serve it hot.
