Lemon Garlic Basil Salmon

This lemon basil salmon recipe makes a quick and healthy weeknight dinner option that’s deliciously full of flavor! Serve this simple dish alongside rice, vegetables or salad for a complete dinner experience.

Set the salmon steaks skin-side down on a baking sheet and surround them with as many roasted tomatoes as possible without them touching. In a small bowl, combine melted butter with garlic, fresh basil leaves, lemon juice and seasonings such as salt and pepper; spoon half over each salmon fillet before topping them off with lemon slices. Cover the entire pan tightly with aluminum foil before placing the dish into the oven to bake until the salmon flakes easily with a fork (approximately 15 minutes).

As soon as your fillets have cooked for 20-25 minutes, take them out of the oven. Remove foil packet and garnish each fillet with more lemon slices and fresh parsley (optional). This fish recipe pairs perfectly with light Pinot Noirs such as Burgundy or Sangiovese wines.

Roasted Salmon with Sweet Potatoes

As temperatures grow colder, your family will appreciate a warm and satisfying meal. This salmon sheet pan dinner is simple to prepare and makes use of seasonal produce for an appetizing spread that all will love.

Preheat the oven to 425degF and line a baking sheet with foil to simplify cleanup. Spread broccoli and sweet potatoes out on the pan, season with salt and pepper, add olive oil for additional flavoring, and roast for 15 minutes or so until vegetables are tender.

While your vegetables and salmon are cooking, prepare the maple glaze by combining maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, mustard seed paste, garlic, basil leaves (reserving some for garnish), apple cider vinegar mustard seed paste and apple cider vinegar (using 1/2 of each).

As soon as the vegetables are done, flip and toss with any remaining maple glaze. Add salmon atop the vegetables and bake until the fish flakes easily with a fork, about 10-12 minutes. A kitchen thermometer should be used to monitor its internal temperature to avoid overcooking.

Salmon with Caramelized Honey Garlic Sauce

Honey garlic salmon is a sweet and salty delight that anyone can easily prepare at home. Add it to a side of roasted vegetables or steamed rice for an impressive dinner option that tastes just as great as any restaurant meal!

Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper before setting aside while you make the sauce. Combine soy sauce, honey, water and cornstarch in a small bowl until all the cornstarch has disintegrated into a smooth paste.

Pour the mixture over the salmon and cook in the oven for 7-9 minutes. Use a spatula to lift one corner of a fillet; if it releases easily, your salmon is done!

Remove the salmon from the pan and drizzle more glaze on it to serve, garnishing as desired with parsley or green onion if desired. Enjoy your dinner! This recipe can also help use up leftover salmon by gently reheating it either in an oven or skillet on low heat.
