8 Famous Traditional and Tempting Spanish Drinks You MUST Try

Spain is extremely popular for its alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Tastessence will provide you with an authentic list of recipes of traditional Spanish drinks.

Did You Know?

The traditional Spanish drink, ‘Sangria’, is named so, because of the red wine used in its ingredients. Sangre, in Spanish, means blood. The red wine in the drink resembles blood. Sangria is usually served with a wooden spoon, and is popular all over Spain.

Spain is well-known for its red wine, whiskey, and brandy. These are also their traditional alcoholic drinks. Drinks which include these liquors are a part of their dining culture since the Spaniards like to consume them with lunch and dinner. Apart from alcoholic beverages or cocktails, they are also fond of non-alcoholic drinks. The basic ingredients in both types of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are usually the same, with the only difference of the presence or absence of alcohol. Here, we will give you an authentic list of Spanish drinks and their recipes ranging from alcoholic to non-alcoholic. So, make sure that you try these drinks when in Spain, or read through the recipes below and make the same at home.
