5 Ways to Make Virgin Margarita

Therefore, we’re also going to begin by giving you the classic recipe of virgin margarita, followed by the fruity versions.

Remember, a margarita, be it virgin or alcoholic, needs to be served in a particular manner:

  • Always use a long-stemmed margarita glass for the drink.
  • Don’t forget to rub a lemon wedge on the rim and dip it in coarse salt before you pour the mix in the glass.

Note: To serve a frozen version of any margarita, combine all the liquid ingredients into a blender, add 4 – 5 ice cubes, and blend until it gets slushy. Your drink is ready to serve.

Classic Virgin Margarita

You’ll need:
Sugar syrup, 2 oz.
Lime juice, 1 oz.
Lemon juice, 1 oz.
Orange juice, 1 oz.
Ice cubes, 4 – 5
Lime wedge/orange rind, for garnish

Procedure:
Mix all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add the ice cubes. Shake the mix until it gets sufficiently chilled. Pour it into a prepared margarita glass as described above. Begin to sip at a leisurely pace.

You’ll need:
Lemon-flavored soda, 2 oz.
Strawberries, 2
Limeade concentrate, 1 oz.
Orange juice, 1 oz.
Ice cubes, 4 – 5

Procedure:
Place strawberries in a blender, to which you add the limeade, orange juice, and ice cubes. Blend it until smooth. Fill the glass to about ⅔ capacity and top it up with lemon soda just before you serve it.

Lime juice, 1 oz.

Ice cubes, 4 – 5

Procedure:
Blend together all the ingredients until you get a slushy consistency. Mango margaritas taste best when you make a frozen version of them. You can garnish it with a couple of mint leaves.

Watermelon Margarita

You’ll need:
Lime juice , 1 oz.
Orange juice, 1 oz.
Sugar, 1 tsp.
Watermelon cubes, ½ cup
Ice cubes, 4 – 5

Procedure:
Pour the lime juice, orange juice, sugar, and half of the watermelon cubes into a blender. Add ice cubes and blend until the mix is smooth. Pour this into a margarita glass. Now, take the remaining watermelon cubes, finely chop them, and top up the drink. The tiny watermelon pieces lend an interesting texture to the drink.

Grapefruit Margarita

You’ll need:
Lime juice, 1 oz.
Orange juice, 1 oz.
Pink grapefruit juice, 1 oz.
Sugar, 1 tsp.
Ice cubes, 4 – 5

Procedure:
Blend all the ingredients together to form a smooth mixture. You can increase the quantity of grapefruit juice to enhance the coloring in the drink. In case you’re serving this to children, you can line the glass with sugar instead of salt.
