8 Amazing Trash Can Drink Recipes

Trash can drink – sounds kinda quirky, but can bring a lot of fun to any gathering. With Tastessence by your side, you can be sure to find creative and amazing trash can drink recipes for whenever you’re in the mood for a pick-me-up.

As the trash can drink is commonly served in a plastic water cooler, make sure it is thoroughly cleaned before you prepare the drink in it. To do so, …
  1. scrub it with a mixture of warm water and mild soap.
  2. rinse it with clean, cool water and dry it properly with a clean cloth.

Owning up to its name, a trash can drink was usually prepared by emptying a variety of liquor that was available. So basically, if people were coming over for a party and they happen to have some alcohol with them, it would all be dumped into a big plastic water cooler. After adding a few mixers and tons of ice cubes, the resulting (strong) beverage would be served to everyone.

Now, all that sounds quite exhilarating, and you might wish to do the same at a party yourself. But wait, and think for a second. If you just randomly started mixing different types of alcohol together, who can guarantee it will taste pleasant? Keeping this ‘kicker’ in mind, we thought of taking this idea to a whole new, delicious level. Apart from the Irish trash can drink, we have provided 7 more drink recipes that have more than 3 types of liquor. Have fun preparing them, and please, drink responsibly.
