For many, they are devoured for their sheer flavor but for others, they are consumed only because they are a major source of Omega 3 fatty acids and proteins. Well, this proves to be a strong reason for all fish lovers across the world to devour this delectable dish. With Fettuccini
  • Fettuccini, 4 oz.
  • Leaf Lettuce, 1 cup (bite-size pieces)
  • Cucumber, ½ (quartered and sliced)
  • Fresh Dill, 3
  • Green Onions, 2
  • Smoked Salmon, 4 oz. (flaked)
  • Low-fat Sour Cream, ¼ cup
  • Lemon Juice, 1 tbsp.
  • Yogurt, 2 tbsp.
  • Tomato, 1 (wedges)
  • Parsley Sprigs, for garnish (chopped)
Cook the pasta in boiling salted water. Once cooked, drain out all the water. Rinse the pasta under cold water and drain again. Now, combine the main salad ingredients in a bowl. Keep a few salmon flakes aside, which can be used later. Meanwhile, take a separate bowl and combine all the ingredients for the dressing together. Now, mix the cooked pasta along with the rest of the salad ingredients. Follow this up by adding the dressing. Toss it lightly so that it mixes well. Use the fish flakes as garnish along with tomatoes and parsley. Chill this preparation and serve it cold.
Sushi Rolls
  • Japanese Sushi Rice, 2 cups
  • Avocado, 1 (peeled and sliced)
  • Cucumber, 1 (peeled and sliced)
  • Rice Wine Vinegar, 6 tbsp.
  • Nori (Dry Seaweed), 6 sheets
  • Wasabi Paste, 8 oz.
  • Smoked Salmon, 8 oz. (cut into long strips)
  • Water, 2 cups
Soak the rice for at least 4 hours. Drain and cook it with water in a cooker. Once cooked, add around 6 tbsp. of rice vinegar. Once done, spread the rice on a plate so that it cools down. Take a bamboo mat and place a sheet of seaweed on it. Press a thin layer of rice onto this seaweed sheet. Ensure you leave at least ½ inch of the top and bottom edge in an uncovered state. Add some of the wasabi paste onto the rice carefully. Then, place avocado, cucumber, and smoked salmon on the rice but while doing so, ensure that you place them at the bottom edge of the seaweed. Moisten the top edge of the seaweed. Roll the top edge and use the bamboo mat to make it into a tight roll. Cut the roll into 8 pieces. The same procedure can be repeated with all the other rolls.
With Cream Cheese and Crackers
  • Cream Cheese, 1 large pack
  • Garlic Powder, ¼ tsp.
  • Onion Powder, ½ tsp.
  • Sweet Onion, 1 (finely minced)
  • Smoked Salmon, 8 oz.
  • Crackers, 6
Cut the onion into quarter-sized pieces and then place it in the food processor. Ensure that they are chopped evenly. Once done, make around 4 sections of the cream cheese and add it to the processor. You also need to add the garlic and onion powder to the same mixture. Now, blend the preparation until the onions get minced well. Cut the fish into large strips. You should be able to fit these strips on top of the crackers. Now, spread the cream cheese mixture prepared earlier on the cracker. Use another strip to cover the same. You can even add some onion powder to enhance the flavor.
