  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup low fat milk
  • sugar as per taste
  • a dash of nutmeg powder
  • butter for greasing the skillet
Preparation
In a mixing bowl, beat the egg and add milk to it. Gradually add flour and continue to stir, ensuring no lumps are formed. At last add sugar and nutmeg to the mixture, and stir well again. Heat the skillet and grease it with butter. Pour one ladle of batter on the skillet and spread the batter on the skillet, and let the pancake cook. Once it is ready, flip it over to the other side.   • 2 tsp baking powder

Preparation
Beat the eggs in a mixing bowl. Once fluffy and light, add milk and flour to the eggs and stir well. Add sugar, baking powder, melted butter and salt to the mixture, and stir well again. Heat the skillet and grease it with cooking spray. Spread a ladle of batter on the skillet and spread the batter to make a thin pancake.   • ½ cup soy milk

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ cup water

Preparation
In a mixing bowl, combine wheat flour with soy milk, water, sugar, maple syrup, salt and half quantity of soy margarine. Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. Remove the mixture from the bowl. Heat the skillet and grease it with soy margarine. Pour about one ladle of batter onto the skillet and spread the batter to make a thin pancake. Let it cook on this side, before you flip it over to the other side. Serve hot.
