Rum is a distilled beverage prepared from sugarcane by-products, like molasses and sugarcane juice after being fermented and distilled. It is generally combined with fresh fruit juices and other liquors to form different cocktail drinks. It comes in varying types, like golden and dark, light and premium. Light rum is mainly used in cocktails, while dark and premium one is either consumed straight or used in cooking. However, while making rum mixed drinks, be careful of not using light or dark rum as a substitute for each other, as it may spoil your drinks' taste and you won't be able to enjoy that ultimate sipping pleasure, which you will have otherwise. So, here are some classic and simple rum mixed drink recipes that will surely make your mouth water.
