Daiquiri is a cocktail made with a combination of rum and fruit juices. Its virgin counterpart is made without including alcohol in the recipe. Did you know? To make a daiquiri, you can use any fruit of your choice like mango, blueberry, banana, avocado, peach and pineapple, with strawberry being an especially popular choice. The virgin strawberry daiquiri is a thick, sweet, tangy and the perfect thirst-quenching drink for the summers. You can also make it as a special treat for children or serve adults at your party. A combination of fresh strawberry juice with other juices imparts a sweet and rich taste to the ruby-red drink. This non-alcoholic, refreshing and healthy drink is perfect for lawn parties, summer barbeque and even a New Year Eve's party. So, why don't you try it for your next soiree?
3 oz. frozen sliced strawberries in syrup (or fresh)
1 oz. cream soda
1 tbsp. orange extract (or pineapple juice)
1 - 3 tsp. sugar (or to taste)
Crushed ice

In a blender, add crushed ice. Then add frozen strawberries, cream soda, orange extract and sugar. Blend this mixture well, until it becomes smooth. If it is too thick, you can add some water. Pour this mixture into a chilled glass. Your virgin strawberry daiquiri is ready!
3½ oz. frozen strawberries
½ oz. sweet and sour mix
⅛ cup ice cubes
1 dash grenadine syrup

In a blender, add strawberries, sweet and sour mix and ice cubes. Mix it well. Then add grenadine syrup and blend, until it becomes smooth. Pour the mixture into a glass.
¾ cup chilled lemon-lime soda
¼ cup white sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
4 cubes ice
2 large strawberries, hulled

In a pan, heat sugar and water (in equal quantities) until the sugar completely dissolves. Bring to boil, then, let this syrup cool. Combine it with strawberries, lemon juice, sugar, ice cubes and lemon-lime soda. Blend this mixture well until it becomes smooth. Pour into fancy glasses and garnish with strawberry slices and mint leaves.
1 packet frozen unsweetened strawberries
⅓ cup light corn syrup
2 tbsp. fresh lime juice
½ ripe honeydew melon, seeded and flesh cut into ½-inch cubes

Combine together strawberries, lime juice add corn syrup in a blender. Blend to make a puree, until it becomes slushy. Pour this mixture into beautiful, stemmed shallow glasses and add melon cubes on the top.
Strawberry daiquiri mix
3 cups of ice
½ cup cut strawberries
2 tsp. honey

Put ice in the blender. Add strawberry daiquiri mix into the blender, until it reaches the top of ice. Then add strawberries. Blend it well. Then add honey into this mixture. Mix well, until it becomes smooth. Blend the mixture well, until ice is dissolved.
3 oz. frozen strawberries, in syrup
1 oz. fresh lime juice
1 tsp. powdered sugar
1 strawberry
1 orange slice
Cracked ice

In a mixing glass, add cracked ice. Then add frozen strawberry syrup, lime juice and powdered sugar. Shake it well and strain this mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with orange and strawberry slice.
★ Blending the strawberries makes their insoluble fibers more tolerable for the stomach.
★ You can substitute lime juice with lemon juice, however, the former gives a much better taste to the drink.
★ Try to use to fresh strawberries for this recipe.
★ Adding too much ice in the blender can give a watery consistency to the virgin strawberry daiquiri.
★ When using fresh strawberries, always remove the caps.
