Sugar Toast Recipes
Plain Sugar Toast
Note: Be alert and make sure to not over-toast the bread.

► Bread slices
► White granulated sugar
► Butter/Margarine
► Toaster

► Toast the bread slices properly on medium settings of the toaster.
► Spread butter on the bread as much as you prefer.
► Sprinkle sugar on it, depending on the sweetness you desire.
► The sugar sticks to the butter. That's it! You're done making a tasty and fast snack.
Cinnamon and Powdered Sugar Toast
Tip: Cinnamon can give a very strong flavor, so add it as per your preference. Also, you can sprinkle some more powdered sugar to make it yummier!

► Powdered sugar, ¼ cup
► Ground cinnamon, 4 tsp.
► Bread slices
► Butter
► Heat and melt the butter completely. Let it cool down.
► Mix the cinnamon and sugar properly in butter. Make sure there are no chunks left behind.
► Now, evenly spread the butter mixture on the bread.
► Toast the slices for only 1 - 2 minutes.
► Your yummy cinnamon sugar toast is ready!
Brown Sugar Toast
► Eggs, 5
► Brown sugar, 1 cup
► Bread
► Butter, ½ cup
► Corn syrup, 2 tbsp.
► Vanilla essence,1 tsp.
► Milk, 1½ cups
► Mix butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup in a saucepan and heat it on medium heat.
► Spray some vegetable oil on the baking dish.
► Pour the syrup mixture on the dish.
► Keep all the bread slices on the mixture.
► Beat the eggs, and add milk and vanilla essence to it.
► Pour the milk mixture on all the bread, as evenly as possible.
► Wrap the baking dish in plastic and keep it in the refrigerator overnight.
► Uncover and bake it the next morning at 350°F for 30 minutes. Enjoy your delicious, sugary breakfast.
Swedish Sugar Toast
► Ground cinnamon, 1 tsp.
► Sugar, 1 tsp.
► Ground cardamom, ½
► Ground cloves, ¼
► Butter
► Bread slices

► Mix sugar and ground spices in a bowl.
► Cut the bread diagonally in halves.
► Spread butter to each of the slices on one side.
► Sprinkle the sugar and spice mixture on the buttered slices.
► Keep on the baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
► Keep an eye on the slices after 5 minutes of baking so that it does not get toasted in excess.
Japanese Sugar Toast
Tip: Use French baguette for this recipe if possible.
► Bread
► Butter, 1 cup
► Granulated sugar, 1¼ cups
► Almond extract, 1 tsp.

► Mix the butter, almond extract, and sugar in a bowl.
► Spread a thin layer on one side of the bread slices.
► Preheat the oven to 250°F.
► Keep the slices of bread on the baking sheet.
► Bake till the bread turns light brown in color.
