Recipe 1 - With Yogurt

Ingredients
  • Ripe bananas - 2
  • Fresh strawberries - 2 cups
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Plain yogurt - 1 cup

Clean the strawberries, remove the leaves, and dice into pieces. Peel and cut the bananas into small pieces and put both the fruits in a blender. Add other ingredients like milk, yogurt, and sugar.   • Vanilla extract - 1 tsp.
How to prepare

Blend the ingredients to the consistency of a smoothie. Serve immediately. If you want a slightly colder and thicker smoothie, use frozen fruits. You may skip sugar or use honey instead. This recipe yields one large glass of smoothie.

Recipe 4 - Fat-free Version

In order to make your strawberry banana smoothie fat-free and healthy, avoid using ingredients like yogurt, milk, ice cream, sugar, etc. In this recipe, apart from strawberries, you need only water and honey. So, take around 30 medium-sized strawberries. Wash and remove their leaves. Put the strawberries in a blender along with 240 ml (8 oz) of water and around five tablespoons of honey. Blend and serve in tall glasses with ice cubes.
