Homemade White Cake Mix Recipes

White cake mix form the basic ingredient in many homemade cake recipes. Here are a few homemade white cake mix recipes that are sinfully divine.
Cakes are an all-time favorite of people of all age groups. They make excellent desserts after a scrumptious meal. White cakes are popular due to their light flavor that leaves one wanting more. These delectable desserts can be prepared easily at home in no time.

Recipe 1: Golden Banana Cake

  • 1 packet, white cake mix
  • 1 packet, vanilla instant pudding
  • ½ cup, Wesson oil
  • 3/4 cup, water
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup, chopped pecans
  • 1 cup, mashed bananas
Stir all the ingredients and pour them into a well-greased and floured pan. Set the oven at 325 °F and bake it. About 50 minutes later, your base will be ready.
Butter Sauce
  • 1 cup, sugar
  • 1/4 cup, water
  • 1 stick, margarine
Melt the butter on the stove. Make sure it does not boil. Add about 1 teaspoon of banana flavoring (since it is golden banana cake). Pour this over the base as soon as it is taken out of the oven.
Banana Glaze
  • ½ medium banana
  • 1 teaspoon, lemon juice
  • ½ cup, chopped nuts
  • 2 cups, powdered sugar
Mash the bananas well and add the nuts and lemon juice to it. Add the sugar slowly, make sure you check for the consistency simultaneously as both are related. Leave it to cool.

Recipe 2: 7-Up Cake

  • 1 package, vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 box, white cake mix
  • 3/4 cup, vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 10 ounces, 7-Up
Mix the pudding mix and cake mix with the vegetable oil. Add the eggs, make sure you beat them one at a time. Stir the 7-Up in to the batter. Pour into 3 greased and floured cake pans. Set the oven at 350 °F and bake for 20 minutes. Leave to cool.
  • 1½ cup, sugar
  • 2 tablespoons, flour
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • ½ cup, butter or margarine
  • 1 can, crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 1 can, coconut
  • ½ cup, nuts
Slowly add the beaten eggs to a mixture of the flour and sugar. Add the butter or margarine too. Cook it at the top of a double boiler (preferable) until syrupy consistency in formed. Now, add the nuts, pineapple, and coconut.
Now, remove it from the pan and leave it to cool on the racks. Spread the filling between the layers. Spread it more generously on the top of the cake.
