Chicken is one of the most favorite dishes amongst many of my friends! Be it any occasion, the various chicken recipes prepared as per diverse cuisines often end up being the main food item. It goes without saying that it vanishes from the plates in no time! Every cuisine has its own special recipes to prepare chicken in the best possible way. Here are some special ground chicken recipes that have been a favorite amongst many.

Recipe 1

Ingredients
  • Ground chicken, 12 ounces
  • Soy sauce, 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger juice, 1 teaspoon
  • Sake, 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar, 2 teaspoons
Preparation

First, place the chicken in a skillet. Now, add the sake to the skillet along with the sugar. Stir this mixture and separate the pieces of meat before you begin cooking the same. Then, place the skillet over low heat. Let the meat cook well and allow the pieces to crumble a bit. After a few minutes, the gravy will turn a shade of white.

Next, remove the excess fat by skimming the liquid. Let it cook for another 2 minutes. Now, add the ginger juice and turn up the heat to reduce the amount of liquid in the pan. Once this is done, remove the pan from the heat, and let it cool down. You would need to refrigerate it for 3 days. Then, reheat the same over low heat. You can also add a few drop of water while doing so.

Recipe 2

Ingredients
  • 1 chicken (cut into pieces), 4 pound
  • Small carrot (peeled), 1
  • Water, 4 cups
  • Salt, 1½ teaspoons
  • French bread (crusts removed), 2
  • Walnuts (ground), 14 ounces
  • Salt, 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic cloves (crushed), 2
  • Ground red pepper, 2 teaspoons
  • Medium-sized potato (peeled), 1
  • Small onion (peeled), 1
Preparation

Place the chicken, onion, carrot, and potatoes in a large saucepan and add the water to it. Allow it to come to a boil. Then, reduce the heat, and let it simmer for at least an hour. Once the chicken and vegetables turn tender, strain them, and reserve the broth. As the chicken cools down, chop the meat into tiny pieces.

Then, soften the bread by placing it into the chicken broth. Take the walnuts, red pepper, and garlic in a large bowl, and place the bread in it after squeezing out the excess liquid. Sprinkle a teaspoon of salt over this preparation. Blend well. Now, place this mixture in cheesecloth. You have to strain the mixture and reserve the liquid in a small bowl. Add the chicken broth to this mixture very slowly till it turns thick. Now, place the shredded chicken in a dish. Add the walnut, pepper, and garlic mixture to the chicken along with the liquid that was reserved. With a spoon, smooth the mixture. Your chicken dish is now ready to be served!
