This article will provide you with some bean recipes with bacon, garlic, and also some salads that you can whip up in a jiffy.

French beans, also termed as green beans, can be used in exotic dishes. There are a variety of recipes you can try, such as casseroles, steamed dishes, sauteed dishes, and many more. These beans are not only tasty, but healthy too. They are rich in fiber, thus helping the body reduce cholesterol. Because of their fibrous nature, blood sugar level in the body is regulated.
  • Melted and regular butter, each ½ cup.
  • Green beans, 8 small cans.
  • Cheese shredded, 4 cups.
  • All purpose flour, ½ cup.
  • Sour cream, 4 cups
  • Cereal cornflakes, 4 cups
Step 1:
The first step begins with preheating the oven to approximately 300ºF. Cover the casserole dish of about 2 quarts with grease.

Step 2:
  Begins with making a paste of butter. For this, melt ½ cup butter in a frying pan and mix the flour with butter followed by adding sour cream. Keep stirring thoroughly when you make the above blend. 
Step 3: Once the blend bubbles, take it off heat and mix shredded cheese. Once the cheese melts, mix green beans by stirring until they are coated. Take this mixture on the casserole dish.

Step 4:
Now spread a mixture of melted butter and cereals over green beans.

Step 5:
Bake for about half an hour. The blend will turn golden brown. Take it out of the oven now.
With Bacon
  • Large minced garlic cloves, 2 pieces.
  • Chopped red onions, 2.
  • White vinegar, 3 tablespoons.
  • Large diced potatoes, 8.
  • Chicken, ½ cup.
  • Butter, 6 tablespoons.
  • Chopped bacon, 12 slices.
  • Fresh trimmed green beans, 4 pounds.
Step 1
Cook chopped bacon on medium heat on a frying pan for approximately 12 minutes, until it becomes brownish. Take out bacon on a paper towel and place it on a dish.

Step 2
Begins with melting the butter in a frying pan with the lid placed and on low heat and frying the onion for approximately 5 minutes. Now add bacon, chicken, potatoes, green beans and garlic and keep stirring till it boils. Cover the mixture with lid and cook on low heat for approximately 12 minutes. Spread salt, pepper, and vinegar for taste.
Frozen Green Bean and Cheese
  • Seasoned salt, 6 tablespoons.
  • Bacon slices, 12.
  • Parmesan cheese.
  • Chopped onions, 2.
  • Green beans, frozen, 6 cups.
Step 1:
Boil frozen green beans in water and fry bacon slices until soft.

Step 2:
Mix seasoned salt, bacon slices, and chopped onions, and add this mix to boiled green beans. Spread Parmesan cheese on top. It's ready to be served hot.
These simple recipes are healthy and hardly take any time to prepare. You can always be creative and play around with spices depending on your palate.
