A frozen alcoholic drink is made from a distilled liquor containing ethanol. Ethanol or ethyl alcohol is an intoxicating agent. Frozen alcoholic drink recipes are made from liquors such as gin, vodka, rum, brandy and many more.
Serving alcoholic drinks is a part of many social occasions such as birthdays, engagements and weddings. Usually, an alcoholic drink is served chilled or frozen. There is a wide range of alcoholic drinks such as beers, wines and spirits. The alcoholic content in each of them varies.
There are many different types of frozen alcoholic drink recipes; each with a distinct taste. Each recipe is prepared in a different manner depending on the type of alcoholic beverage used and the alcohol content in it.

Frozen Alcoholic Drink Recipe #1

  • 2 Ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 Cup crushed ice
  • 1½ Ounces tequila
  • 1 Pineapple stick
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
Blend tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice and crushed ice together in a blender for 30 to 60 seconds on low speed. Now pour into a serving glass. Garnish the drink with a pineapple wedge or a pineapple stick.

Frozen Alcoholic Drink Recipe #2

  • 1 Ounce whiskey
  • 1 Ounce gin
  • 1 Ounce Pernod
  • 1 Cup crushed ice
  • Sugared cherries for decoration
In a blender, blend all the three alcoholic drinks with 1 cup of crushed ice. Transfer the contents into a serving glass. Add more ice cubes, if required. Decorate with a slit cherry.

Frozen Alcoholic Drink Recipe #3

This recipe is made using brandy and red wine. You can name it as "brandy-wine-drink".


  • 1 Bottle red wine
  • 2 Ounces brandy
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 2 Sticks of cinnamon
  • 2 Cloves
  • Sliced orange
  • 1 Cup ice
In a thick-bottomed pan, heat red wine along with the cloves and cinnamon over a medium to low flame. Add sugar and mix well to dissolve the sugar. Do not allow the mixture to boil. Shut the flame once the sugar dissolves and allow the mixture to settle for 10 minutes.
Now, add brandy and simmer over a low flame for 25 to 30 minutes. Add the orange slices and remove from the flame. Allow it to cool. Strain the mixture. Blend the mixture and the ice in a blender for a minute on low speed. Pour it into a serving glass and decorate it with an orange wedge.

Frozen Alcoholic Drink Recipe #4

  • 1 Ounce rum (preferably Bacardi)
  • 1 Ounce cherry juice
  • 1/3 Orange juice
  • 1/3 Apple juice
  • 1/3 Pineapple juice
Blend all the liquids in a blender on low speed. Transfer it into a serving glass. Add crushed ice and decorate it with a pineapple wedge.
