Ingredients
  • Fresh sour cherries: 4 cups
  • All-purpose flour: 1½ cups
  • White sugar: 1½ cups
  • Brown sugar: 1 cup
  • Old-fashioned oats: 1 cup
  • Butter: ½ cup
  • Shortening: ½ cup
  • All-purpose flour: 4 tablespoons
Preparation
  1. First, preheat the oven to 375ºF. Then, take a large bowl and add some cherries and 1½ cups of white sugar.
  2. Add 4 tablespoons of flour to this. Now, pour this preparation into a baking dish.
  3. Take a medium-sized bowl and add flour (1½ cups), oats, and brown sugar.
  4. Then, add the butter along with the shortening and mix gently till it turns crumbly.
  5. Gently sprinkle some cherries. Then, bake this preparation in the preheated oven for 50 minutes.

  • Cream cheese (softened and cut in pieces): 2 packets (8 ounces each)
  • Eggs: 2
  • Sour cream: 1½ cups

  • Graham cracker crumbs (about 15 graham crackers): 1 cup
  • Sugar: ½ cup

Preparation
  1. Firstly, combine all the ingredients mentioned for the Graham cracker crumb crust.
  2. Then, press this into a 9-inch pie pan and bake at 400ºF for 6 minutes.
  3. Let it cool before you begin with the filling.
  4. Now, you need to prepare the cheesecake pie filling. For this beat together eggs, sugar, vanilla, and the sour cream.
  5. Then, add the cream cheese gradually and ensure that you beat it well. Also beat in the melted butter.
  6. Now, pour the cheese mixture into the 9-inch prepared pan with the baked Graham cracker crust.
  7. Bake this cherry cheesecake crust at 325ºF for a duration of half an hour.
  8. This pie becomes firm as it cools. Top it with the cherry pie filling.

  • Cucumber (halved, seeded, and sliced): 1 medium

  4. Next, in another bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and blend them well.
  5. Now, pour this over the cherry mixture. Toss well so that it coats evenly.
  6. Refrigerate this salad for at least an hour before serving.
