  • 1½ cups corn kernels (frozen)

  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2½ cups vegetable stock

Procedure:

Mix the chicken pieces with the mustard, vegetables, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder in a slow cooker. Pour the chicken broth and the vegetable stock over this. Cover the cooker and then let it cook for about 7 to 9 hours. Once it is done, taste it, and add salt if required. Serves about 4 to 6 people.

Ingredients:
  • 3 cups chicken broth (seasoned)
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika

  • ½ cup cooked rice
  • ½ cup cooked chicken (diced)
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 can tomatoes w/sweet onions (diced)
  • 2 cans low-fat chicken broth

Mix all the ingredients in a large crock pot, and cook on a low flame for 6 hours. This soup is very easy to make. This recipe makes about 4 servings.
