Easy Appetizer Recipes That Will Have Your Kids Drooling

Kids can be tricky to cook for. But with some amazing and easy-to-follow recipes on hot and cold appetizers, you can make them east to their hearts' content.

Hot Appetizers
Whether it's a party or wish to make quick appetizers for kids, it's a good thing to know what they like. You can make delicious recipes for them that they'll enjoy. So think beyond feeding your kids than plain cheese and bread, and follow these recipes.
Cheese and Beans Quesadillas
  • Refried beans, 1 can
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded, 1 cup
  • Jack cheese, shredded, 1 cup
  • Soft flour tortillas
Place flour tortillas in front of you and spread at least 1 tablespoon of refried beans over them. Take both the cheese and sprinkle over the tortillas and fold them in half. Turn the broiler on and place the tortillas in. Let the cheese melt and tortillas turn brown. Bring the quesadillas out and cut them into wedges. Serve quesadillas with sour cream and salsa.
Hot Wings
  • Chicken wings, 4 lb.
  • Italian dressing, 4 packs
  • Hot sauce, 1½ bottles
  • Butter, melted, ½ stick
  • Lemon juice, ½ cup
Preheat the oven to 400ºF. Get a big bowl, add the chicken wings in, and mix butter, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, and hot sauce as well. Combine everything properly and place the wings in a baking dish. Bake the wings for about 1 hour, or till the meat begins to fall off the bones. Take the wings out, and serve with blue cheese dip.
Cold Appetizers
Here, we will give you make ahead appetizer recipes; hence called cold appetizers. Now you may think that kids won't be too keen on eating simple easy cold appetizers. Wrong; if you got the right recipes and followed it perfectly, you can definitely please them with some yummy appetizers.
Old-fashioned Guacamole
  • Lime juice, 2 tablespoons
  • Whipping cream, ½ cup
  • Ripe avocados, 2
  • Garlic clove, 1
To make this easy appetizer, mash avocados and finely chop garlic. In a bowl, place the mashed avocados and add the rest of the ingredients as well. Mix everything properly and do a taste test. If you want, you can also add salt and black pepper in the guacamole as well. Serve with crispy chips.
Salsa Rolls
  • Flour tortillas, 4
  • Soft cheese, 4 oz.
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded, ½ cup
  • Chunky salsa, 3 tablespoons
  • Chili powder, ¼ teaspoon
To make this easy party appetizer, place the tortillas in front of you and spread the soft cheese and salsa over them. Now add the rest of the ingredients and roll them properly. Cut the tortillas into 3-5 pieces and serve with sour cream.
