5 Exciting Drinks Made With Vodka That You Can Replicate at Home

Marian K Apr 23, 2019
Vodka is a distilled liquor made from fermented rye, grain, wheat, potatoes, or sugar beet molasses. The great thing about vodka is that it is versatile and a large range of cocktails can be made with it.
Each has its own special quality; a green apple martini slips down easy, whereas a long island iced tea hits you hard and fast. A special few can handle the full flavor of a bloody mary, and cosmopolitans are a must for girls. Let us look at a few cocktails that you can try whipping up by yourself.

Bloody Mary

  • 1 (6-ounce) container tomato juice
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 5 drops, hot sauce
  • Dash of red wine and dry sherry
  • 7 drops, Worcestershire sauce
  • Pinch celery salt
  • Salt and pepper
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Celery stalks
  • Add about three cubes of ice to a highball glass, and then pour in all the liquid ingredients.
  • Stir and then add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with a celery stick and cherry tomato, and serve.

  • Strain into a prepared martini glass and garnish with the apple slice.
