When cookies and chocolate are combined together, the result is simply delicious and irresistible. Double chocolate chip cookies are usually prepared from cocoa, butter, brown sugar, and chocolate chips, and can be eaten as an evening snack with coffee or tea, and even as a dessert.
Preparing them is not as time-consuming as they seem to be. Hence, if you wish to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings, here are some ways for you on how to do that.
Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 large egg
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the butter with the white and brown sugars, using an electric mixer on high speed. Add the egg and vanilla extract to it; blend again on low speed. In another bowl, sift the flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, together. Slowly add this dry mixture to the butter mixture and blend well until fully incorporated. Now, fold the chocolate chips into the mixture and shape the dough into about 1½-inch balls. Transfer these to a parchment paper and bake them in a preheated oven at 350 °F for 10 to 12 minutes. Allow them to cool down and then transfer the cookies to a wire rack.
