  • Fresh mint leaves - ½ cup
  • Fresh green chilies - 2 or 3
  • Fresh lemon - 1
  • Vegetable oil for deep-frying
  • Salt
  • Grind the chilies, and the mint together to form a paste.
  • Apply the mint and chili paste to all the chicken breast strips.
  • Now, sprinkle the strips with the lemon zest (grate the lemon skin over the chicken) and add salt.
  • Allow the chicken strips to marinate for about two to three hours in a closed container in the refrigerator.
  • Now, heat the vegetable oil in a deep-frying pan.
  • Once the oil is sufficiently heated, deep-fry the chicken strips until they are golden brown.
  • Once fried, remove them on a tissue paper to soak up the excess oil.
  • Now, transfer to the serving dish. Garnish with some fresh mint leaves and serve with slices of fresh lime.
