Cook crab in any form (grill, bake, boil, steam, or broil) and I'll eat it with a big smile of satisfaction on my face. There are many people who love seafood and crab will definitely be listed in the top 5 choices. But the sad part is that not everyone is bitten by the "chef" bug, or can find the time or energy to cook them whenever the heart wants. So... what are you left with? Store bought crab that you cook in a microwave or oven and serve. Or, as an expensive alternative, visit your favorite seafood restaurant. Although the latter might seem like a good enough idea, eating at a seafood restaurant might not be successful every time. Now, now... there's no need to sulk over such a small dilemma. You and your family can enjoy eating crab whenever you wish right at home. How, you ask? It's very simple. Just follow the recipes mentioned in the article.

Mayonnaise Crab Meat Sandwich #1

  • 16 oz. crab meat, cooked
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 hard rolls
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon mustard, dried
  • ¼ heat butter lettuce
  • ⅔ cup radish, sliced
  • Salt and black pepper, for taste

To prepare the sandwiches, you will require a bowl to mix crab meat, mayonnaise, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and mustard together. Do a taste test to check the consistency of salt and pepper. With a knife, slice the rolls and place lettuce leaves on one half. Next, spoon the crab meat mixture and place the other half on top. After preparing all the sandwiches, wrap them in Saran wrap plastic, and place in the refrigerator. Serve the sandwiches in couple of hours.

Peppers, Onions and Crab Meat Sandwich #2

  • 6 oz. crab meat, flaked
  • 2 sandwich buns
  • 2 tablespoons onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning
  • ¼ cup celery, diced
  • ¼ cup red peppers, roasted and chopped
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Parsley, optional
  • Salt and black pepper, for taste

First we will mix the crab meat with celery, onion, red pepper, and parsley together in a bowl. Take a separate bowl to combine mayonnaise with seafood seasoning, salt, and black pepper properly. Add the crab meat mixture to the dressing and fold in everything thoroughly. Take the sandwich buns and place lettuce leaves on one half with the crab meat mix on top. Place the other half of bun on top and serve immediately.

Crab Meat Cream Cheese Sandwich #3

  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 can crab meat, drained
  • 1 sourdough bread loaf
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon capers, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste
  • 1 pinch paprika
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • ¼ cup cilantro
  • ¼ cup celery, diced
  • ¼ cup bell pepper, chopped
  • Lettuce and spinach leaves
  • Butter, for sourdough bread

Before we add the crab meat, take a bowl to combine cream cheese, lemon juice, chili paste, paprika, cilantro, capers, celery, radish, garlic, onion, and bell peppers together. Mix everything properly and make sure the consistency is as you want before adding the crab meat. Then, add the crab meat and mix once more. Do a taste test to make sure all the flavors are working well. Slice the sourdough bread, spread a little butter, and place in the broiler. When the bread slices are golden brown, remove them from oven and place lettuce and spinach leaves on one half. Next goes the crab meat mixture and another slice of bread.
