Chocolate-covered Pretzels
Chocolate-covered pretzels are delightfully crispy and make great snacks. They serve as delicious treats for occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
The first thought that comes in mind after hearing the word sweet, is chocolate. Chocolate is an all time favorite of youngsters as well as adults. They can be prepared into pretzels and enjoyed at a party or gifted to friends and relatives.

Basic Preparation

If you are inclined to prepare them, then some basic preparation is necessary. You can use this for any kind of Pretzels, you are looking for.

Place wax paper on a cookie sheet and be sure that there is room in the refrigerator for the sheet. Pour some chocolate chips in a bowl and microwave them for at least 30 seconds and stir repeatedly, till the chocolate has melted.

Using pretzel rods, 9-inches long, roll and dip them in the chocolate. Once it is half covered in chocolate take it out and pour some sprinkles over it. Place the finished pretzels on the wax paper. Keep it in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes or until the chocolate is solid.

Mini Pretzels

Ingredients
  • 1 bag of mini pretzels
  • Almond bark candy coating (white vanilla or dark chocolate)
  • ½ tablespoon, shortening
  • Nonpareils
  • Sugar crystals
  • Chopped nuts
  • Sprinkles for decorations.
Procedure
Lay a piece of waxed paper on a cookie sheet. Melt the shortening and 6 squares of the almond bark, on low heat in a small saucepan. Mix them well until the chocolate has melted and becomes smooth.

With a 2-prong fork, start dipping the pretzels (dip one at a time) until they are coated. Set them on a waxed paper. Spray your choice of decorations on top. Coat pretzels until you use all the melted almond bark. Keep them for setting so that chocolate can harden. Your Chocolate covered mini pretzels are ready to offer your loved ones! Pretzels with Peanuts

Ingredients
  • Chocolate Candy Quick
  • Peanuts
  • Pretzels
Procedure
Put the peanuts and pretzels in a bowl, start blending them, and smash the pretzels into pieces. Melt the chocolate Candy Quick by keeping them in a microwave oven, and stir to make it smooth.

Put the Candy Quick into the bowl to mix it with the peanuts and pretzels. Subsequently, take that mixture and place it on a cookie sheet with wax paper. At the end keep the sheet in the refrigerator and let cool until it hardens.

Pretzel Sticks

Ingredients
  • Dark Chocolate (semisweet)
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Shredded sweetened coconut
Procedure
Melt the chocolate and dip a three-fourth length of the pretzel stick into this melted chocolate. Then coat it with the coconut. Place sticks on a sheet of wax paper on top of a cookie sheet. Place this sheet of wax paper in microwave oven at a temperature of 400 ºF.

Remove it from the oven once coconut becomes a light brown. Place the sheet in refrigerator for the purpose of setting and hardening. Store in an airtight jar.
