Casserole is a type of cookware that is used for cooking as well as serving. Cooking in it is one of the easiest and fastest ways for preparing any dish. You can prepare some sumptuous meals within a short time. This menu offers a combination of breakfast and lunch. So try the following delicious recipes, and prepare some innovative dishes.
Bread, Ham and Cheese
  • Whole Wheat Bread, 8 slices
  • Eggs, (beaten) 4
  • Cooked Broccoli, (chopped) 2 cups
  • Butter, (melted) ¾ cup
  • Cooked Ham, (chopped) 2 cups
  • Cheddar Cheese, 2 cups
  • Milk, 2 cups
  • Pepper, ½ tsp.
  • Salt, 1 tsp.
Make small cubes of bread and toss them in melted butter. In a greased casserole dish, add ham, half of the bread cubes, and half of the broccoli. Then add the remaining bread cubes, cheese, and broccoli. In a small mixing bowl, beat milk and egg together, and then add salt and pepper. Pour this mixture into the casserole. Refrigerate this mixture, for at least 2 hours. Then bake for about 1 hour at 350° F.
Pork, Broccoli and Cheese
  • Pork Sausage, 8 oz.
  • Cheddar Cheese, (shredded) 1½ cups
  • Ricotta Cheese, 1 cup
  • Broccoli (thawed and drained) (chopped) 10 oz.
  • Milk, ¼ cup
  • Eggs, (lightly beaten) 8
  • Tomato, (thinly sliced) 1
  • Black Pepper, 1 tsp.
  • Salt, ½ tsp.
Preheat the oven to 350° F. Cook the sausage, drain it and place in a large mixing bowl. Then, add ½ cup of cheddar cheese and broccoli. Place this mixture in a lightly-greased casserole dish. In another bowl, place ½ cup of cheddar cheese and then add beaten eggs, milk, ricotta cheese, pepper, and salt. Mix it well. Spread this concoction over the sausage mixture. Then, sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese. Decorate with tomato slices on the top. Cover this mixture and bake for about 30 minutes. Then, uncover the dish and bake for another 15 minutes.
Hash Brown Potatoes and Cheese
  • Frozen Hash Brown Potatoes, (unthawed) 2 lb.
  • Sharp Cheddar Cheese, (grated) 3 cups
  • Cream of Celery Soup, (undiluted) 1 oz.
  • Onion, (finely chopped) 1 cup
  • Sour Cream, 1 cup
  • French Fried Onions, 6 oz.
Preheat the oven to 350° F. In a large bowl, combine brown potatoes, cream of celery soup, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and finely chopped onion. Then, transfer this mixture to a casserole dish. Bake it for about 1 hour, until the top is slightly golden. Then, sprinkle some French fried onions on top and bake for about 5 minutes, until golden brown.
