Bring in the summer season with a backyard barbecue party. The immense joy and pleasure of cooking outdoors with friends and family cannot be described in words! Pull out the chairs and the barbeque grill, and head off to a destination close by for the weekend.

Food is obviously the main ingredient for any BBQ night! However, do remember to plan a basic menu for the barbeque night. Include fruits such as peaches or pears. Grilled shrimp, veggies, chicken, or pork can follow for the main course. Avoid ingredients that may not stay fresh particularly in the hot weather. You can use ice packs or coolers to store the food in case your barbeque party is planned away from home.
Chicken Barbeque Recipe
Chicken Barbeque
Ingredients: 3 lb - quartered chicken, 2 cups - spicy barbecue sauce, ¼ cup - freshly chopped herbs (rosemary, parsley, thyme, sage, or oregano), ground pepper and sea salt - to taste
Method: Rinse the chicken, pat it dry, place it in a zip-top freezer bag. Pour in the barbecue sauce over the chicken, and coat it evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or overnight. Remove the chicken from the bag, but preserve the marinade. Sprinkle all the herbs over the chicken, along with salt and pepper. Grill the chicken skin side down on medium to low heat and on both sides till it turns crispy. Baste it with marinade. Grill covered till it has cooked thoroughly.

Ingredients: 1 lb. - ground beef, 6 - slices of cheese, 2 tbsp - olive oil, 6 - split kaiser or bread rolls, ⅓ cup - barbecue sauce, 2 - sliced tomatoes, 6 - lettuce leaves
Method: Prepare the grill for the direct grilling process. Place the ground beef in a large bowl, add 2 tbsp of barbeque sauce over it, and knead together to make thick patties. Place these patties on the grill over medium heat. Grill them on both the sides covered for 5 mins. Bast the patties with barbecue sauce. Brush the tomato slices with oil and place on the cooking grid. Grill these slices for 2-3 minutes. Grill the rolls lightly. Assemble the burger and serve.
